In the last week, MediaTek shows the specifications of a new processor, the X20 Helio MT6797 comes with 10 cores. On that occasion, MediaTek also compares Helio X20 with Snapdragon
810. And apparently, Helio X20 not be the only mobile processor chip
with 10 cores that will exist on the market.
Qualcomm also reportedly preparing a new processor called Snapdragon 818. Just as Helio X20, the latest chip from Qualcomm that comes with 10 cores. Each of these four high-power Cortex A72 core 2.5 GHz, 2 cores mid-power Cortex A53 and 4-core 1.6 GHz Cortex A53-speed low-power 1.2 GHz.
The chip will be equipped with Adreno 532 GPU and supports RAM LPDDR4. In addition, chips built with 20nm processing technology is equipped with LTE connectivity support-A Cat10.
There is no information about when the latest processors from Qualcomm will be officially introduced. The possibilities could have a phone with Snapdragon processor chip 818 is going to come in the coming year.
