The Benefits of Infant Massage

Baby massage is an ancient child care practice that is still practiced throughout the world. Recent medical studies have proven the many benefits of infant massage. A study showed that premature infants who were massaged three times a day for ten days to get the weight gain of nearly 50 percent more, more active and alert and able to leave the hospital six days sooner than other premature babies. Rewarding Baby massage stimulates motor neurons, improves sleep patterns, aid digestion and improve children's emotional tranquility, in addition to nourish the body and muscles. Babies who are massaged regularly can grow better and be healthier and grow better. Here are some tips for baby massage.

 

How to Massage Baby :


  • Choose the massage as you relax and not in a hurry and will not be interrupted in the middle of the road. Do not massage your baby before or after a meal, or when the baby is sick. Do not wake the baby for a massage.
