Android OS Still Getting WhatsApp Support Until 2020

WhatsApp has announced its support for the BlackBerry platform will end until the end of 2017. On the other hand, the company is now under the auspices of Facebook has announced that they will still support the old Android OS until 2020 later.


Of course this is good news for the users of old school Android devices, because WhatsApp still provide support about the next 3 years. If you remember, in February of last year, WhatsApp said that they will stop providing support for Android OS 2.1 and Android 2.2 (and some other non-Android platforms) by the end of 2016.
